Promoting Health and Well-being: Free Health Screening at Madina

On May 25, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Accra-East Legon organized a free health screening event at Madina, aimed at promoting health and well-being within the community. This initiative was part of our ongoing commitment to community service and public health awareness.

Event Highlights

The health screening event provided residents with access to a range of essential medical services, including:

Blood Pressure Checks: Assessing risk factors for hypertension and cardiovascular diseases.
Blood Sugar Tests: Early detection and prevention of diabetes.
Body Mass Index (BMI) Measurements: Evaluating the risk of obesity and related health issues.
General Health Consultations: Offering personalized advice from healthcare professionals.

With the help of our dedicated volunteers and healthcare partners, we were able to serve over 500 residents, providing them with critical health information and advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
