The Rotaract Club of Accra East Legon marked a significant milestone on Saturday, June 7, 2025, with a colourful and inspiring Induction Ceremony held at the club meeting grounds (former district office). The event witnessed the official induction of nine (9) new Rotaractors and three (3) Honorary Members into the club’s ever-growing family.

The ceremony brought together members, alumni, friends of the club, and distinguished guests to celebrate the club’s commitment to service, leadership, and community impact. With passion and pride, the newly inducted members took the Rotaract pledge, symbolizing their dedication to the values of Rotary International  “Service Above Self.”

Club President, RP Divine Mawuena, in his welcome address, emphasized the importance of youth involvement in community development. “Inducting new members is not just about growing in numbers; it’s about expanding our impact and strengthening our resolve to create lasting change in our communities,” he noted.

The three Honorary Members, recognized for their exceptional service and unwavering support to the club’s initiatives (DRC Kwame Baah-Acheamfuor, PP Yvonne Opokua Asiedu and PP Neyeram Kukula ), were also decorated in a special segment of the ceremony. Their inclusion reflects the club’s appreciation of allies who champion the cause of development and social good.

The Induction Ceremony was not only a celebration but also a reaffirmation of the club’s mission to empower young people through leadership, professional development, and impactful community service.

The Rotaract Club of Accra East Legon continues to shine as a beacon of hope and change, and the addition of these vibrant new members promises even greater achievements ahead.
