Hewale Health Project 3.0 — Tema Community 1 Market
30th August 2025
The Rotaract Club of Accra East Legon, together with Rotaract and Rotary Clubs across District 9104, joined the Rotaract Club of Tema Meridian to deliver the third edition of the Hewale Health Project on Saturday, 30th August 2025, at the Tema Community 1 Market.
Beginning early in the morning, the outreach brought together medical professionals, Rotaractors, market leaders, and hundreds of traders and residents for a day dedicated to screening, awareness, and preventive healthcare. The project provided free health screenings, consultations, and essential medical services to ensure that community members had access to timely and reliable healthcare support.
A Collective Commitment to Community Wellness
Speaking at the outreach, representatives of the lead club highlighted the growing importance of early detection and health education in busy market centers like Tema Community 1.
“The Hewale Health Project continues to demonstrate what we can achieve when service-minded individuals come together. Our goal is simple — to help our communities live healthier, safer lives,” one coordinator noted.
